Colección: Written In Flowers

This series of small still life paintings were created during early 2021, just as vaccines were beginning to roll out.  So many friends were just barely hanging on, feeling so much exhausted heartbreak over COVID.  These painting were created as a tiny blessing for the world, meant to send messages to those we love.  

These paintings arose out of research on the meaning of flowers.  In the 1800s flowers were often used to send messages to friends and beloveds.  Each flower carrying a coded message with its color or its variety. These paintings use those codes to share blessings to all of us.

 All these oil paintings are 6 x 6 inches, oil on board. They ship with a wooden easel for easy display.
