10 x 10 inch oil on canvas painting in a raw maple frame.
This painting reflects on the experience of being forced to stop moving. We all define ourselves by what we “do” in the world; but during quarantine, we have had to stop so much “doing.” In that stopping, we are forced to turn more inwardly and face our essential nature. I hope this piece can remind us to stop and see our essential nature, our innate worthiness, our innate beauty.
